Dhakpo Monastery
Camp # 1, Mainpat
Dhakpo Monastery is a Gelug Monastery. Unlike the big monasteries in other bigger Tibetan Settlements in India and Nepal, monasteries in Maipat are fairly small.
There are about three water falls namely Fish Fall which is near Tibetan Camp No. 6 and Tiger Point water fall. The above two water falls are worth seeing and Chattisgarh govt has developed the Tiger point for tourist, so there is picnic area and cooking place also.
Jungle are really very thick around Mainpat and its really quite, if you wanna get peace of mind and get out of bustling noises of cities, it is really a good place to hang around with friends.
