By road
Tenali is connected to Chennai and Calcutta via Mangalagiri and Budampadu by National Highway 5 dual-carriageway, 120km/h.Tenali is 25 Kms from Guntur & 35 Kms from Vijayawada by road and there are plenty of buses that run between the cities.The Andhra Pradesh State Road Travel Corporation APSRTC runs buses from Vijayawada, Guntur, Nagarjuna Sagar, Hyderabad, Miryalaguda, Srisailam, Bhadrachalam and Repalle to Tenali, along with some private operators, who run buses from a Hyderabad. Please check with APSRTC for timings.Alternatively, one can travel to Vijayawada or Guntur from many popular destinations in luxurious coaches and then reach Tenali on road.
By train
Tenali is on Kolkata-Chennai main line and is connected to major cities by train. This being a major junction, most of the trains including the super fast expresses have a stop in the station. Tenali station is in the south central railways and is having 5 platforms. All platforms can accommodate trains with 28 coaches.
