The current Minneapolis Central Library was designed by Cesar Pelli and opened in 2006, replacing a hideous 1950s structure that previously housed the library. Unfortunately, the planetarium housed in the former structure has yet to be replaced. Plenty of computers are available here, and there are plenty of tables on each floor equipped with electrical outlets to plug in your laptop computers if you want to use the free wi-fi.
