Southeast Minneapolis is a district in Minneapolis. Although it isn't actually that part of the city that is in the southeastern quadrant of Minneapolis, it is called "Southeast" because it is the south part of "East Minneapolis," that part of the city that is east of the Mississippi. The boundary between Southeast Minneapolis and Northeast Minneapolis is East Hennepin Avenue.
