The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac)
(http://www.klpac.com) sentul west - klpac, set up by ytl, one of malaysia's biggest companies, is a noted centre for performing arts, notably theatre and music it can also host film screening. it has housed many local productions and has been a supporter of local and regional independent performance artists.
The National Art Gallery
Jalan temerloh, off jalan tun razak next to istana budaya and the national library - the unique architecture of the gallery incorporates elements of traditional malay architecture, which combined with contemporary lines has distinguished the complex as one of the most modern art venues in the region. the national art gallery is a centre of excellence and trustee of the national art heritage.
Interestingly, despite its extremely philistine atmosphere, the northern part of Kuala Lumpur is home to some of the city's main cultural establishments. The area just north of Jalan Tun Razak has been designated by the government as KL's performing arts zone while the privately set up KL Performing Arts Centre is seen as the catalyst of the redevelopment of the working-class Sentul area.
