Climate

Continental subarctic climate "characterized by long, usually very cold winters, and short, cool to mild summers.Wikipedia". Permafrost is melting in summer to 70 cm down. The warmest month is July averaging on +15 °C maximum +35 °C. Snow disappears in the end of May and starts in October.

Flora and fauna

Flora and fauna numbers 211 mammals and 480 plants including 2 plants from the Red Book. The shore is a scenery rookery of sea animals.

Landscape

Middle range mountains covered with larch, fir and dwarf birch. Tundra also presents.
