Kungur Ice Cave is one of the biggest caves in the world and the only in Russia cave purposely equipped for excursions. This unique natural monument, surrounded with multiple legends, is located in the Urals, between Perm and Yekaterinburg. Strictly speaking, the cave is not in Kungur itself, but in the village called Filippovka across the Sylva river. To get to the cave, walk to the right after exiting the railway station, across the bridge. There are signs pointing to the cave. You can enter the cave only on a guided tour. Regular tours start every two hours.
