The Harboro Hotel (http://www.harborohotel.co.uk) has a good variety of traditional real ales and offers an excellent Sunday lunch.
The nearby Noel's Arms also has real ales, and live bands on Fridays and Saturdays. The bands tend to be formulaically loud.
The Crown next door to St Mary's Church is a splendid pub, the landlord Mr Trettis being the longest serving in the town. Sunday lunches are of a very high standard.
