The 14th century St Marys Church (http://www.stmarysnantwic...) is often referred to as the cathedral of South Cheshire.
Nantwich Museum
(http://www.nantwichmuseum...) is in Pillory Street. It stands next door to the former Nantwich jail and across the road is a replica of the original pillory. The museum has displays about the town's past including the leather industry and salt mining and a recently discovered salt ship.
