The Restaurant occupies a major part of the original Principle building dating back to the 17th century. Both the bar and the restaurant have been refurbished and although the design is stylish and contemporary, the building retains all its period features. Where possible, locally produced foods are used in all of our dishes. Diners can choose from a varied range of English / French style cuisine, which is complemented by a list of fifty carefully selected wines.

The Trollies Hotel and Restaurant

The restaurant occupies a restaurant sized location in the heart of rural Somerset. Come and enjoy genuine home cooked food, cooked in the home as intended by nature. Sample a range of original Somerset delicacies such as Chilli Con Narnia, Chicken Tikka Lasagne, Mini Kievskis all washed down with a nice warm cup of sugary Bovril. Every Thursday is family night. Entertainment provided by the HMP Herne amateur dramatics society.
