September - mostly based around drinking in the local pubs, this festival has the advantage of a great atmosphere at the expense of everywhere being very busy. get to the pub early if you want a table.
Otley Carnival
July - floats and processions though the town, ending at a fairground held just over the river. very popular with children and families.
