Saltcoats Harbour - Not a startling place at the moment but a proposed regeneration could see the area once again become a prominent part of the town.
South Beach - The busiest beach in the area, the promenade is frequented by a high percentage of the population and on a nice day it really is second to none for beaches within easy reach of Glasgow - being 2 minutes from the railway link to the city.
Stevenston Beach - Just south of the town centre it is much quieter than South Beach but when the sea is rough and the tide is in is also incredibly dangerous.
Isle of Arran - the views of the island from South Beach are beautiful.
St Cuthberts Church - A fantastic piece of architecture, built in 1908 it is by far the finest church in the area. A highlight are the small carvings that can be seen at the entrances to the building and inside the church itself.
