Sutton

For downhill skiing and snowboarding Mont Sutton, My Mountain Resort (http://www.montsutton.ca/) offers beautiful glade skiing at Quebec's third largest snow resort. Cross country ski and snowboard enthusiasts are well catered for at Sutton en Haut (http://www.arbresutton.co...) half way between the village and mountain. This is also the location for d'Arbre En Arbre (http://www.arbresutton.com/), a tree top adventure park. There are many back roads for cyclists and La Route Vert, a Quebec-wide cycle route, passes through Sutton.

Outdoor Activities

The sutton mountains provides the focus for the village's outdoor activities. hiking and snowshoeing is available on 80kms of well maintained trails (http://www.parcsutton.com/) of all levels for which a $4 day pass is required, available at the sutton tourist office (http://www.infosutton.com/).

Cultural

Follow the walking trail through the village to visit examples of sutton's loyalist buildings or take a self guided drive of the area's cemeteries maps available at the sutton tourist office (http://www.infosutton.com/ ). arts sutton (http://www.artssutton.com/) at 7 academy has a regularly changing program of contemporary art exhibitions.

The Wine Route

Sutton is located on the edge of The Wine Route (http://www.laroutedesvins.ca/), a signposted route that threads 18 small vineyards together, offering tasting opportunities as well as other seasonal activities including a sculpture garden and picnicking. Just outside Sutton, Domaine Bresee makes a good rosé and also sells their own organic beef. In Glen Sutton, Chapelle Ste Agnes (http://www.vindeglace.com) vineyard has an outstanding location which can be visited on a guided tour on Wednesdays and Sundays in summer and autumn.
