Desert View Tower
In-Ko-Pah Road just off I-8 near Jacumba, +1 619 766-4612. Daily 9AM-5PM. Located at the San Diego County/Imperial County border, this stone tower dating back to the 1920s once was a stop along the once treacherous journey between San Diego and Yuma, Arizona. Today it is a museum and offers a scenic view of the desert to the east. Nearby is a collection of boulders crafted into beautiful carvings. $3.50 adults, $2 children.
