Allegany State Park is 15 minutes south of Ellicottville. This 65,000 acre park offers excellent facilities for camping, swimming, fishing, biking, hunting, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
Buffalo is about an hour north on route 219. Continue north to reach Niagara Falls.
The Finger Lakes region of New York state is about a 2 hour drive to the east, and is the largest wine producing region in the US outside of California.
