Chapel Hill

Routes go through Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the UNC campus. Buses run on weekdays and weekends but tend to be less reliable at night, on weekends and times when there is a football or men’s basketball game on the UNC campus. For those particular home games, Chapel Hill Transit buses are used for the Tar Heel Express, buses used to transport patrons to and from Kenan Stadium or Dean E. Smith Center. Other than fees used for tickets for the Tar Heel Express, Chapel Hill Transit buses are FREE.
