6818 plum creek dr, tel 806/352-0022. adaberry's inn claim to fame was that it served as the home for oprah winfrey for two months while she fought a defamation lawsuit brought on by amarillo-area cattle ranchers. a charming inn, each room is themed after a particular city, so you can choose to sleep in the key west suite, featuring yellow walls and a nautical theme or head on down to the aspen room, which features a jacuzzi for two and ski motifs. several of the rooms have private balconies and patios to enjoy a sunset from, and an exercise room to keep up fitness while you're traveling.
