By plane - Regional Express REX flies direct to Lismore Airport LSY. REX, Virgin Blue and Qantas fly to Ballina Byron from where it's a 40 minute drive. Usually cheaper to fly to Gold Coast and then drive - about 90 minutes.
By car - inland from Ballina. Follow the signs from the Pacific Hwy.
A bus also operates from Ballina, however it is infrequent and generally only operates during daylight hours. Other outlying areas may or may not be serviced by buses-check the timetable before travelling, not afterwards. In general, the last bus will leave around 5:00 PM, sometimes later.
